I'm Gonna Stop Being Shy

Text on the meme

“I'm gonna stop being shy” Me everywhere I go:

What it means

A close-up photo shows a gray tabby cat staring directly at the camera. The joke is that someone confidently announces they will stop being shy, but then reacts everywhere with an awkward, intense, and unapproachable stare. It is used as a self-deprecating reaction to social anxiety or failed confidence.
