Poop Lore: Digestive Journey

POOP LORE esophageal tissue fatty acids fiber digestive system

An animated educational-style clip follows a piece of food through the mouth, esophageal tissue, intestines, and digestive system, showing digestion and the eventual formation of poop. The overly serious anatomy lesson becomes a joke because the narrator explains feces as epic “lore,” accompanied by Gotye’s melancholic remix of “Somebody That I Used to Know”; the deadpan song makes the absurd subject even funnier. The audio says, “She didn't have to cut the iron, man She could have, I could have.” EN: An animated educational-style clip follows a piece of food through the mouth, esophageal tissue, intestines, and digestive system, showing digestion and the eventual formation of poop.
