Society Says Be Yourself
SOCIETY JUST BE YOURSELF OK
A four-panel cartoon shows a gray bald figure labeled “SOCIETY” telling a simple white character, “JUST BE YOURSELF.” The character replies “OK,” after which society becomes visibly angry. The joke mocks the contradiction of encouraging individuality while reacting negatively when someone actually behaves authentically.
