Pitchfork Gives Peppa Pig 6.5

Pitchfork The Beatles Yellow Submarine 6.2 EMI / EMI · 1969/2009 BY: MARK RICHARDSON / SEPTEMBER 10 2009 Pitchfork Peppa Pig Peppa's Adventures: The Album 6.5 EONE · 2021 BY: PEYTON THOMAS / JUL 31 2021

A mock Pitchfork comparison shows The Beatles’ Yellow Submarine receiving a 6.2 rating, while Peppa Pig’s Adventures: The Album receives a slightly higher 6.5. The joke is that a children’s Peppa Pig album is supposedly better reviewed than a classic Beatles album, parodying Pitchfork’s often surprising or controversial ratings. It can be sent as an absurd reaction to praise something unexpectedly or criticize serious music reviews.
