EN: In a garden, several strange cartoon characters form a chain around a plant, and then the plant turns into a living pineapple with huge eyes and red lips that dances in front of the camera. The absurd climax set to Lorde’s “Royals” makes the clip a surreal reaction to a situation that suddenly becomes dramatically ridiculous. The calm pop song and recognizable chorus contrast with the chaotic 3D animation and heighten the comedic effect.
