What it means

A Steam friends list shows multiple accounts named Peter Griffin, all playing Team Fortress 2 from the main menu. The joke is that Peter Griffin appears to have an absurd number of identical friends, with one more person joining the game. It is used as a reaction to having many duplicate friends or seeing an unexpectedly crowded friend list.
