SpongeBob Turns Fourteen

WE'RE 14 NOW, KYLE IT'S NO LONGER CHILD ABUSE. YOUR DAD IS COMMITTING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.

SpongeBob SquarePants is depicted as a tough-looking pirate with crossed arms and an angry expression. The joke is that turning fourteen supposedly changes the legal or social framing of violence from child abuse to domestic violence, making it a darkly absurd reaction to a birthday or growing up.
