Text on the meme

El Risitas / Died April 28, 2021 Born: April 5, 1956, Seville, Spain

What it means

El Risitas laughs uncontrollably in the top panel while a man below laughs along, then the clip reveals a death announcement for El Risitas and the man covers his face in disbelief. The dark joke contrasts infectious laughter with sudden grief, while Beach House’s dreamy, melancholic song “Space Song” makes the reaction feel dramatically bittersweet.
