Schizophrenia Mailbox Check

Text on the meme

schizophrenia

What it means

A cartoon mail carrier walks through a sunny countryside, repeatedly turning and gesturing as if checking whether someone or something is following him. The opening shot shows an empty mailbox, making the exaggerated suspicious behavior a visual joke about schizophrenia. The clip is set to the upbeat Eurodance track “Better Off Alone” by Alice Deejay, whose cheerful, repetitive rhythm contrasts comically with the character’s paranoid-looking movements and makes the video work as an absurd reaction meme.
