Said a Joke in 2021
POV: you said a joke in 2021
A first-person camera films a woman on a crowded beach before abruptly fleeing as she runs after it. The chase continues from the sand onto a roadside and a bridge, turning the caption into an absurd reaction meme about how telling a joke in 2021 could provoke an over-the-top pursuit. T.O. Bassett’s tense instrumental track, “Interlude: Unnecessarily Tense,” heightens the escalating panic and makes the chase funnier.
