Imagine Dragons Meme

Text on the meme

Imagine not being white Imagine not being black Imagine Dragons

What it means

A split-screen TikTok shows a white woman captioned “Imagine not being white” and a Black woman captioned “Imagine not being black.” Below them, a person in glasses and a blue cap dramatically waves a red dragon-shaped object while the caption “Imagine Dragons” remains on screen. The joke is a pun that turns the two racial statements into the band name Imagine Dragons, with Jason Derulo’s emotional pop song “Whatcha Say” heightening the melodramatic absurdity. It works as a reaction meme for awkward, overdramatic, or unexpectedly literal wordplay.
