Spider-Man Stops a Flying Subway

mission failed!

Spider-Man clings to the front of a subway train as it bursts through a city construction site and appears to crash or fail spectacularly. The close-up of his strained face builds comic tension before the train launches into the air, followed by the video-game-style “mission failed!” punchline. It is used as an absurd reaction to an attempt that goes disastrously wrong.
