American Democracy Finally Arrives

LOOKS LIKE AMERICAN DEMOCRACY FINALLY CAME TO AMERICA

A four-panel collage shows armed soldiers surrounding and entering the U.S. Capitol, with barbed wire and military patrols visible around the building. The joke sarcastically portrays militarization and political unrest as if American democracy has only just arrived in America, mocking claims that democracy is being brought elsewhere. It can be sent as a reaction to authoritarian-looking politics, military involvement in government, or hypocrisy about democracy.
