Humanity Restored After Eating

Text on the meme

Me: *eats all the food on the plate* Random kid in Africa: HUMANITY RESTORED

What it means

An orange cat appears first with a shocked, distressed expression and then with a smug, satisfied look. The captions joke about the guilt-inducing idea that finishing all the food somehow helps a hungry child in Africa, ending with the ironic phrase “HUMANITY RESTORED.” It is typically sent as an absurd reaction to overeating or sarcastically feeling morally virtuous.
