Tony Hawk Learned to Skate
“They made the video game before I actually knew how to skate, so I was basically forced into learning how to do it.” —Tony Hawk On his career
A portrait of Tony Hawk appears beside a humorous quote claiming that the Tony Hawk video game was made before he knew how to skate, so he had to learn in order to play it. The joke reverses the real relationship between the famous skateboarder and his video game series, presenting an absurdly literal explanation for his career.
