cover yourself in oil!! This is an American joke. I see.

An anime classroom scene shows a child pointing at a crude trollface drawing on the blackboard labeled “cover yourself in oil!!.” A teacher then explains, “This is an American joke,” and another student replies, “I see.” The humor comes from treating an absurd, nonsensical trollface gag as if it were a cultural lesson, with the deadpan delivery making the punchline even funnier.
