Goose Joins the Family
UNIT 3. MY FAMILY mother father brother sister grand- mother grand- father family goose
A page from a children’s English textbook shows illustrated family members, but a goose is included alongside the family vocabulary. The joke comes from treating the goose as if it were a normal family member, making the educational page absurd. It can be sent as a reaction to an unexpected or strangely included person in a group.
