Built Like a Goddess
When you tell him over the phone that you’re “built like a goddess” but he never took art history and is in for a shock
A caption compares the phrase “built like a goddess” with two ancient fertility figurines showing large, rounded bodies. The joke is that someone unfamiliar with art history may imagine a conventionally glamorous goddess, then be shocked by the exaggerated prehistoric statues. It is used as a self-deprecating reaction about body shape and misleading descriptions.
