Americans Measure Differently

Text on the meme

Everyone: measure with meter Americans:

What it means

The top panel shows an anime girl measuring something with a ruler marked in metric units. The bottom panel humorously exaggerates the American preference for non-metric measurements by replacing a normal ruler with enormous feet. It is used as an absurd reaction meme about the US using inches and feet instead of the metric system.
