Evangelion Hits Too Hard
EVANGELION EVANGELION EVANGELION EVANGELION
Bobby Hill happily holds two Evangelion releases, but after watching them he is left lying motionless on the floor while Peggy stands nearby in shock. The joke is that Neon Genesis Evangelion looks harmless or exciting at first, but its psychological intensity and disturbing ending can emotionally devastate the viewer; this is sent as a reaction to a show that hits far harder than expected.
