Girls and boys coming out

Text on the meme

Girls coming out I'm a lesbiann OMG. More power to you. You're so brave. We will get you a pretty girlfriend Boys coming out where banana

What it means

A two-panel meme contrasts the supportive, overly enthusiastic reaction to a girl coming out as a lesbian with two orangutans casually asking where the banana is when boys come out. The joke stereotypes boys as being much less dramatic and more focused on food. It is sent as an absurd reaction to jokes about different expectations for male and female coming-out announcements.
