Pontiac Trans Am Isn’t Scary

Text on the meme

Me? Transphobic? Nothing about the Pontiac Trans Am scares me

What it means

A concerned-looking Shiba Inu stands beside a black Pontiac Trans Am on a plain white background. The joke is a pun: the speaker denies being transphobic by saying that nothing about a Pontiac Trans Am—a car whose name begins with “Trans”—scares them. It is used as an absurd reaction image about wordplay and performative denial.
