Grand Theft Auto: Vice City VHS
grand theft auto Vice City 4:49 PM June 29, 1984
A VHS-styled, pink-and-blue image shows a stern man holding a submachine gun in front of a city skyline, branded with a parody-like Grand Theft Auto: Vice City logo and a timestamp reading June 29, 1984. The clip stays visually still while Daryl Hall & John Oates’ upbeat 1980s pop song “Out of Touch” plays, creating an absurd contrast between retro crime-game imagery and cheerful music. It works as a reaction to an exaggerated, oddly nostalgic, or dramatically “out of touch” situation.
