What it means

The clip begins like a serious Grand Theft Auto opening, showing an ESRB warning, city footage, and Rockstar credits for Las Venturas. It then cuts to Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up” music video, revealing the whole setup as a classic rickroll; the dramatic game-intro music and presentation make the sudden pop-song reveal funnier.
