Avatar Letter Solidarity Chain

Out of deep solidarity and respect for the high crime rate American community, me and other low crime rate Americans are changing our avatar to "N" for "no more police" please join us in solidarity I'm changing mine to I, for "I can't breathe" With my avatar I choose to honor George Floyd. With my avatar I say "Get rid of all these racist police" I made mine an E, for "Equality for all!" I decided to make my profile image an R, to symbolize the reparations white people owe us

A screenshot of a Twitter reply chain shows users changing their profile pictures to single letters while claiming different forms of solidarity with racial justice and police abolition. The joke is that the letters gradually spell “NIGGER,” exposing the racist bait-and-switch hidden beneath the seemingly progressive messages. It is shared as a shocking, darkly satirical reaction to performative activism and provocative online trolling.
