German Forklift Home Time
Meanwhile, in Germany... Ah, finally, it's home time! "Arbeit macht frei" Forklift Truck Simulator
A forklift worker finishes his shift and goes home, only to continue operating a forklift in a video game. The joke darkly contrasts ordinary leisure with the phrase “Arbeit macht frei,” associating the worker’s endless labor with the infamous slogan. It is used as an ironic reaction to jokes about overwork, work obsession, or never truly escaping the job.
