Me Around My Friends vs Me Alone
ME AROUND MY FRIENDS VS ME BY MYSELF
A two-panel reaction meme contrasts a person acting energetic and carefree around friends with people looking withdrawn, smoking, or curled up alone. The joke is the familiar contrast between a lively social persona and a miserable or exhausted private self, making it useful as a self-deprecating reaction to social masking and loneliness.
