The Pen Tool Turned Around

Text on the meme

The pen tool got a refresh. BEFORE AFTER Oh she turned around

What it means

A social media post shows the Adobe-style pen tool icon changing from a sharp nib to a rounded, turned-around nib, labeled “BEFORE” and “AFTER.” A commenter jokes that the pen tool “turned around,” treating the icon redesign like a person changing direction. It is used as a reaction to a small but noticeable redesign or unexpected change.
