Ancient Rome Font Joke

This is an arial view of ancient Rome from 5,200 ft. This is a times new roman view of ancient Rome from 5,200 ft.

Two aerial views show a detailed reconstruction of ancient Rome, including the Colosseum and dense city streets. The joke is that the second image is labeled a “Times New Roman” view, confusing the historical Roman city with the name of a typeface. It is used as a pun reaction to jokes about fonts, typography, or ancient Rome.
