Romeo and Juliet Sleeping Apart
Romeo Juliet Romeo Juliet Romeo Juliet
A six-panel cartoon shows Donald Duck characters lying in bed under a blanket, alternately labeled “Romeo” and “Juliet.” The joke is that the supposed romantic couple is simply sleeping separately, making the dramatic Romeo and Juliet reference absurd. It can be sent as a reaction to awkward, unromantic, or failed romance situations.
