I Love My Fan
I love my fan.
James Blunt stands onstage with his guitar, facing an almost completely empty concert hall. The joke is the pun on “fan”: he says he loves his fan, meaning both a supporter and the only person visible in the audience. It is used as a self-deprecating reaction to having little or no support.
