Eighth graders and seventh graders shake hands while agreeing that sixth graders are annoying, then an eighth grader washes their hands at a sink. The joke is that eighth graders mock sixth graders despite having recently been sixth graders themselves, portraying them as hypocritical and childish. It is used as a reaction to people looking down on a younger group while forgetting they were once in the same position.
