Disney gave us memories, DreamWorks gave us memes
Disney gave us memories Dreamworks gave us memes
A two-panel comparison shows a colorful collage of beloved Disney characters above a collage of recognizable DreamWorks characters, including Shrek, Megamind, a Bee Movie bee, and the Madagascar penguins. The joke is that Disney is associated with nostalgic childhood memories, while DreamWorks is associated with the internet memes and reaction images its characters inspired.
