2020 Versus Four Billion BC
2020 4,000,000,000 B.C.
A simple four-panel comic shows a person sitting beside a large blank shape, looking increasingly distressed. In the final panel, the character stares sadly into space after imagining life 4 billion years ago. The joke is an absurd existential reaction to thinking about the immense age of Earth and deep time.
