Don't Drive Safely
CAPITA DON’T DRIVE SAFELY Don't drive safely Do drive safely Don't die safely Do die safely n't rv safely
A safety poster saying “DON’T DRIVE” beside a “SAFELY” road sign is contrasted with a cartoon scene where the words are rearranged into contradictory captions such as “Don’t drive safely” and “Do die safely.” The joke comes from the absurd danger created by changing the placement of “drive,” “die,” and “safely,” making it a reaction to reckless or confusing instructions.
