Mom can I watch evangelion To. have fun ? Yeeees, have fun ! Actually gets depression existensial crisis time
A four-panel meme shows a child asking to watch Evangelion, a mother agreeing, and the viewer becoming depressed before descending into an existential crisis. It jokes about Evangelion’s famously dark psychological themes and is used as a reaction to media that looks entertaining but leaves someone emotionally devastated.
