Boring Shower Versus Nerd Shower

Text on the meme

AVENGERS MARVEL DC STAR WARS GAME OF THRONES

What it means

A person stands under a shower, first imagining bleak, realistic images such as war, explosions, space and suffering. In the second panel, the same person wears glasses and a beard and imagines colorful pop-culture worlds including superheroes, Mario, Rick and Morty, Star Wars and Game of Thrones. The joke is that becoming a nerd makes shower thoughts more entertaining and escapist.
