American Dad Missing Textures

LANGLEY FALLS POST Error: Missing Textures AMERICAN DAD!

Stan Smith from American Dad cheerfully goes through his morning routine while the entire world around him is replaced by a glaring pink-and-black checkerboard texture. The clip is a parody of the American Dad! opening sequence, and the newspaper’s “Error: Missing Textures” message explains the deliberately broken-looking visuals. It is a reaction to unfinished game assets, rendering bugs, or chaotic mornings, set to the upbeat “Good Morning U.S.A.” theme by the American Dad Cast, whose cheerful music makes the glitchy imagery funnier.
