Majestic Water Snake Painting

Text on the meme

last night i took shrooms and painted the most beautiful and majestic water snake i had ever seen with my own two eyes and then i woke up and it looks like this

What it means

A blue painting shows a very simple green snake-like shape in the water. The joke is the contrast between the grand psychedelic vision described in the caption and the crude artwork seen after waking up, making it a reaction to exaggerated expectations or disappointing results.
