I Used the Pumpkin

I used the pumpkin to make the pumpkin

What it means

A three-panel image compares a glowing carved pumpkin, a poorly carved pumpkin, and a dark, distressed-looking figure. The joke is that the second pumpkin was supposedly used to make the first, reversing the normal idea that a pumpkin is carved into a design; it is used as an absurd reaction to a terrible crafting result.
