BlizzCon Turns Into Congress
BLIZZCON 2018 中华人民共和国第十三届全国人民代表大会第一次会议 BLIZZCON 2019
The top panel shows a crowded BlizzCon 2018 gaming convention, while the bottom panel compares BlizzCon 2019 to a formal session of China’s National People’s Congress. The joke exaggerates how the event supposedly became more serious, official, and politically staged, making it useful as a reaction to a dramatic change in atmosphere.
