AMERICAN Butter Cookies BUTTER COOKIES

What it means

Isabelle from Animal Crossing sits at a table with a mug and two tins. The first tin is labeled “Butter Cookies,” while the second contains assorted sewing supplies instead of cookies. The joke relies on the familiar bait-and-switch of cookie tins being used to store odds and ends, making this a reaction to false expectations or disappointing surprises.
