American Association Against Acronym Abuse
A.A.A.A. American Association Against Acronym Abuse
A printed sign on a cinderblock wall expands the acronym “A.A.A.A.” into “American Association Against Acronym Abuse.” The joke is self-defeating: the organization uses an acronym while supposedly opposing acronym abuse, making it a reaction to excessive or confusing abbreviations.
