The Four Seasons in Paris
The four seasons in Paris Winter Spring Summer Fall
A four-panel collage shows the Arc de Triomphe in Paris during winter, spring, and summer, followed by a black-and-white image of marching soldiers under the arch labeled “Fall.” The joke uses the double meaning of “fall”: the autumn season and the fall of Paris during a military invasion, making the seasonal collage unexpectedly dark.
