What Puberty Did to Me
What puberty did to my friends. Love Boys What puberty did to me.
A hand-drawn girl transforms from an awkward child into a stylish young woman, while a heavily armored purple fantasy character collapses into a broken, defeated form. The joke contrasts the glamorous changes puberty supposedly gives friends with the disastrous, game-like transformation it gives the creator. It is used as a self-deprecating reaction to feeling left behind or negatively affected by growing up.
