PLEASE TAKE CARE OF HIM 2 years later

What it means

A small Shrek figure is left with a note asking someone to take care of him. The clip shows people caring for him, putting him on a skateboard and letting him run around, before cutting to “2 years later,” when a red toy car is burning outside. The absurdly dramatic time jump turns the innocent caregiving scene into a darkly comic punchline, set to The Beach Boys’ upbeat “Wouldn't It Be Nice,” whose cheerful mood makes the chaos even funnier.
