Side by Side With a Friend
Never thought I'd die fighting side by side with a weeb. What about side by side with a friend? Aye. I could do that.
Gimli and Legolas from The Lord of the Rings are reimagined as reluctant allies, with Legolas wearing a Naruto headband and an anime girl pictured beside him. Gimli initially says he would never fight alongside a weeb, but readily agrees when the alternative is fighting alongside a friend. The meme is used humorously to show friendship overcoming someone’s dislike of a fandom or subculture.
