ANIME INTRO ANIME OUTRO
The top panel shows John Wick, played by Keanu Reeves, firing a gun with the caption “ANIME INTRO.” The bottom panel shows a smiling Keanu Reeves character outdoors with the caption “ANIME OUTRO.” The joke contrasts intense, explosive anime opening sequences with the calmer or unexpectedly cheerful ending sequences, and is used as a reaction to exaggerated beginnings followed by anticlimactic conclusions.
