Greek Mythology Without Zeus

Greek mythology Greek mythology without Zeus’ sex life

A thick book labeled “Greek mythology” is compared with a much thinner book labeled “Greek mythology without Zeus’ sex life.” The joke exaggerates how central Zeus’s numerous sexual affairs are to Greek mythology and is used as an ironic reaction to stories dominated by excessive drama and promiscuity.
