Nintendo Pride Month Kiss

Text on the meme

Happy #PrideMonth🏳️‍🌈! Our staff is filled with people of all sexualities so we love supporting that.

What it means

Nintendo posts a Pride Month message alongside a cartoon of Mario and Luigi kissing passionately. The joke is the exaggerated contrast between the wholesome corporate statement and the unexpectedly intimate image of the two famous Nintendo characters, making it a reaction to corporate pride messaging and implied same-sex romance.
